OnstageAI took part in The Summit 2026, the Menuhin Festival Gstaad’s think tank dedicated to exploring the future of culture. The event was held at the historic Grand Chalet Balthus in Rossinière, Switzerland.
OnstageAI participated in Session II, “Between Survival and (R)evolution: Digital Transformation & AI in the Arts,”moderated by Klaus Fiala of Forbes Switzerland. The session brought together representatives of the classical music and cultural sectors to discuss the role of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in shaping the future of the arts.
During the session, OnstageAI CTO Paweł Jabłoński presented how the company’s technology analyses live music and the visual structure of the stage in real time, enabling autonomous decision-making during concert production.
Jakub Fiebig, President and Co-Founder of OnstageAI, focused on the practical and economic implications of autonomous video production for cultural institutions. His presentation examined the costs and complexity of traditional professional multi-camera production and demonstrated footage from OnstageAI’s first fully autonomous concert production, recorded using five cameras without an on-site production crew, with every camera cut made by the software in real time as the performance unfolded.
The discussion also featured Dr. Clemens Trautmann of Deutsche Grammophon, Dr. Patricia Ernst and Germinal Roaux, and was attended by artistic directors and cultural leaders.
A central theme of the conversation was no longer whether artificial intelligence has a place in classical music, but rather how it should be used, what responsibilities it should take on and where the boundaries of its role should be drawn.
